After almost a whole week of rain around here and me daydreaming about sunnier days, I'm happy that the tulips and lovebirds and bright feel of these cards match today's beautiful weather!

My favorite recent wedding is Anri and Nadia's farm fete at the Delshma farm in the Riebeeck Valley (South Africa). Check out those cows - such a fun shot!

I'm busy at work designing a desktop background for May and some spring inspired thank you cards too. I find there is nothing more refreshing then a look around the web - it makes for a really nice break and I love that you never know what you'll find. And with it being Monday - of course these photos are making me think about the weekend and I'm already looking forward to spending some time outside... They're predicting that it'll be 17 on Saturday, is that even possible when we just had snow late last week??

New Thank You Cards

rainy day thank you cards

Looking at the desktop background I made for April a couple weeks back (see below, just a couple posts down) I thought these images would also make great thank you cards. I've added both white and blue versions of the umbrella thank you cards and rainy day cards to the shop. I went so far as to dedicate them to a tv show we all know and love from childhood!

The View from Here...

meat and bread

The weekend is just about over and a new one's almost here. Time to start the countdown to Saturday or what ;)? I actually opted to take Friday as my day off this week and so did the mister. We ended up going to a cute, fairly new-ish spot near our house for lunch - Meat and Bread. The name says it all - meat and bread is what you get - their menu is limited, but everything was delicious. I had a grilled cheese and tomato soup (classic right?) and DH had a meatball sandwich. In the bottom picture, on the left, you'll see the long communal table that runs almost the length of the restaurant. After lunch we visited a couple art stores, I met with a friend for coffee (hi Naz!) and afterwards, out to the movies. We saw Paul - if you're looking for something that'll get you giggling and not ask you to think too hard, I highly recommend it.

Hope your weekend was great and you're feeling ready for the week ahead!

**Disclaimer** The photos in this post, not mine. I'm no photog and found these on flickr, they were taken by Matt Walters.
